Whether you're driving in for the day or planning to camp out for the weekend, there are several parking options available at and around Darlington Raceway.
Most parking at the track is free. Paid parking is only required for select premium areas such as Pole Position Parking, Too Tough To Tame Tailgate Parking, and Brasington VIP Parking. The main free parking lots are located at Gate 34 off Indian Branch Road and Gate 40 off Harry Byrd Highway. Motorcycle parking is available at Gate 34 as well.
Accessible (ADA) parking is provided at Gate 39B off Harry Byrd Highway. These spaces are reserved for disabled guests and offer easier entry to the venue.
For those looking for a more personal and budget-friendly experience right near the track, Michelle & Mauro’s Darlington Raceway Parking & Camping offers a well-known alternative. Located just across from Gate 1 at Turn 2, along Hwy 34/151, this private lot has welcomed race fans since 1950. It provides car, truck, and RV parking, along with tent camping beside a small pond and a shared fire pit.
Prices are affordable–just $20 per day for cars and trucks. Tent camping starts at $30 per night for one tent and one vehicle. For details or to reserve a spot, guests can call 843-621-7191.
The property is staffed and monitored 24 hours a day throughout the race weekend to help ensure safety and peace of mind. Many fans return year after year, drawn by the friendly atmosphere and personal touch. It’s not unusual to be offered fresh-boiled peanuts or a ride around the grounds on a golf cart. For those who want more than just a parking spot, Michelle & Mauro’s offers a welcoming, community-like setting right across from the backstretch.
